Our Fitness Advantage Strategy Session
Before we take you through a workout, we first want to take the time to find out what your specifically need by performing your Fitness Advantage Strategy session. This blueprint is the very specific plans that we will use to design the program to get you to your individual goals. Every single person who works out at Fitness Advantage has Blue print design for them.
During your Fitness Advantage Strategy Session Consultation we will learn about your health history, any past injuries, your training history along with your specific goals. we will also take you through a range of motion and flexibility evaluation and the base of our blue print – The Functional Movement Screen. During the Functional Movement Screen we will have you perform basic movements and we will find out exactly where your program shouls start and what ift should include to get you started right.
For example, we learn about any imbalances you may have that could eventually cause an injury. This screening is scored from a 1-21. 21 being the best you can get. you will get a score that will be incorporated into your blue print and your coach will guide you on what the next best step is for you. if you score above a 12 we are comfortable with you joining our group coaching membership right awy. our group coaching classes are written as a general program so before you join them we want to make sure you are ready for them. if you score under a 12 we would want to spend a few weeks making sure you are ready for the group coaching classes by performing a program written specifically for you to get you ready for the classes. this program will include correcting any imbalances you have and will be done in a semi-private setting.

Our Group Coaching Classes
Are you ready for something different? Leave it to Fitness Advantage to be on the cutting edge and bring the hottest fitness craze in Burlington Connecticut. Fitness Advantage is excited to announce our new Group Coaching Classes. It seems so new, yet this type of fitness has been around fro over 150 years. How do we explain it? Some people train with weights others do cardio or aerobics – somewhere between is our group coaching, the new concept offered at Fitness Advantage. Get the benefits of both. Your body will get stronger, your cardiovascular fitness will improve and you will burn calories and watch your body change.
This new concept is set-up in group class with certified instructors using tools including kettlebells, ropes, medicine balls , TR’x and other fun, different equipment. This type of training is a great way to shake things up and give you a full body workout, burn a ton of calories and get your metabolism going. A kettlebell is a weight with a handle on it that can be used for numerous exercises you do not typically see in a gym. It may seem intimidating at first and Iwe highly recommend that you have an instructor teach you how to work out using them. There is some skill involved, but anybody can larn and we can teach you at Fitness Advantage. There is absolutley no way to describe this workout without inviting you to try it.

Before you join our group coaching program we do want you to meet with one of our coaches to go trhough our Fitness Advantage Strategy Session. The coach will guide you to the best plan according to your strategy session.
Our Nutrition Program
For those who wish to fine-tune their physique and absolutely maximize their results we offer our Fitness Advantage Nutrition Program. If you want to individualize your nutrition more than what we have given you in our journal this is the answer for you.
You will sit down down with one of our Nutrition Specialist every other week for 8 weeks and really dial in your nutrition. This takes all the guesswork out of nutrition for optimal fat burning, muscle building or sports performance.
Our Supplement Bar
We offer an all natural supplement line for Physically Active People. Supplements accomplish two things. They help in the digestion and utilization of foods, thus creating “higher octane fuel” for your body.
